Remote chat sales jobs in Kenya
Remote, full-time, one fixed eight-hour shift a day. From Nairobi the middle window is an ordinary afternoon and evening.
Kenya sits three hours ahead of UTC, which puts the middle shift window across a normal Kenyan afternoon and evening and makes the early window a genuine option rather than a night shift in disguise. Two of the three are workable from here without rearranging your life.
The work is handling direct messages for creators on OnlyFans, Fansly and Fanvue. The conversations are flirty and explicit and you write them on the creator's behalf. You must be 18 or over and it is verified before you reach a live inbox.
English is an official language here and the language of schooling and business, so the written bar is a lower hurdle from Kenya than from most places. What is left is the setup and the shift, which is what the rest of this page is about.
What the pay is worth in Kenya
A full-time schedule starts from $1,500 a month.
That floor is well above what most entry-level office roles in Nairobi pay and further above the equivalent outside the city.
It is paid in dollars, with an hourly base for every hour on shift plus commission on what your conversations bring in.
How you actually get paid in Kenya
- Wise pays into Kenyan bank accounts and directly to M-Pesa, which for most people here is the shortest route from payout to spendable money.
- Payoneer supports Kenya and withdraws to a local bank account.
- Use an account or a number registered in your own name, or a routine payout turns into a support ticket.
Payment rails change, and the ones above are what works today rather than a promise. Confirm your own route with the provider before your first payout. Your payout method and cycle are agreed in writing before you start.
What we need from you
The same list wherever you apply from. Nothing here is negotiable by country.
- 18 or over. This is non-negotiable and verified before you reach live conversations.
- Comfortable writing mature, adult-themed conversation on behalf of creators on 18+ subscription platforms.
- Written English at B2 or above: natural, quick, and able to carry a tone.
- A computer (not a phone), a stable internet connection, and a quiet place to work a full shift.
- Available for one fixed 8-hour shift per day, six days a week.
- Reliable. Turning up on time matters more here than being the fastest typist.
Working this job from Kenya
The practical parts that decide whether a shift here holds together.
- A computer, not a phone. The application asks for a photo of your setup.
- Home fibre in Nairobi is fine for this. A mobile hotspot as your only connection is not, because eight hours of live conversation does not survive a drop.
- You choose your window when you apply and you keep it. The inbox is handed over between chatters, so consistency is most of the job.
