Careers

Open roles

Each listing tells you the shift windows, the pay structure and exactly what the process looks like before you commit ten minutes to applying.

  • Chat Specialist

    Chat operations

Handle the direct messages for creators on subscription platforms. You build real rapport with fans, you learn when a recommendation lands, and you hand a clean inbox to the next shift. No experience needed. We train you.

    RemoteFull-time

A day in the life

Eight hours, one inbox, and conversations that go somewhere.

You are not reading from a script and you are not cold-calling strangers. You are looking after an inbox of people who already chose to be there, and making that worth their while.

  1. 01

    Read the handoff

Every shift opens with notes from the chatter before you: who was mid-conversation, who just spent, who asked for something specific. You start informed, never cold.

  2. 02

    Work the inbox

Reply to fans who wrote in, and reach out to the ones worth reaching. You are aiming for a first reply under 90 seconds, and for conversations that sound like a person, because they are one.

  3. 03

    Write the handoff

You close by leaving the next chatter what you would want left for you. It takes ten minutes and it is the difference between a team and five people sharing a login.

Be clear on this before you apply

The creators we work with publish adult content on 18+ subscription platforms, and the conversations you handle are flirty and explicit. You must be 18 or over, comfortable with that, and comfortable writing it convincingly. If any part of that is a no, this is not the job for you, and we would rather you knew now than in week two.

Why SentryQ

Most chatting jobs hand you a login and wish you luck.

This one does not. The support structure is the product. It is why our creators stay, and why our chatters do.

  • A small team around you

One supervisor, one trainer, one QA manager. The same people every week, who know your name and know your inbox. You are never the only person responsible when a conversation goes wrong.

  • Feedback you can act on

Every shift ends with numbers you can see: reply times, conversion, the conversations that worked. Not a score handed down at the end of the month with no explanation attached.

  • Rules that protect you

Clear compliance limits, written down, with a supervisor to escalate to. You will never be asked to improvise your way around a platform rule or a fan who crosses a line.

  • Promotion from inside

Every senior role on this team was filled by someone who started on the chat floor. If you are good and you stay, the path up is real and it is short.

Who we hire

We are not reading your CV. We are reading your answers.

This is the whole bar. If you recognise yourself in the left-hand column, apply. The right-hand column is a bonus, not a gate.

What you need

  • 18 or over. This is non-negotiable and verified before you reach live conversations.
  • Comfortable writing mature, adult-themed conversation on behalf of creators on 18+ subscription platforms.
  • Written English at B2 or above: natural, quick, and able to carry a tone.
  • A computer (not a phone), a stable internet connection, and a quiet place to work a full shift.
  • Available for one fixed 8-hour shift per day, six days a week.
  • Reliable. Turning up on time matters more here than being the fastest typist.

Helps, but not required

  • Previous chatting experience for creators, on any subscription platform.
  • A background in sales, customer service, community moderation or social media.
  • Experience writing in someone else's voice, such as roleplay, ghostwriting or character work.

Not sure you clear the typing and English bar? Take the free chatter test first. Three minutes, no sign-up, and it scores against the same marks we hire on.

Training

Three weeks from applicant to running your own shift.

Nobody is dropped into a live inbox on day one. Training is structured, it is the same for everyone, and it is the reason we hire on instinct rather than CVs.

  1. Week 1

    Learn the ground

A short course you work through at your own pace: how the platforms work, how our creators sound, what compliance actually forbids, and the difference between a conversation that converts and one that annoys. Two written exams at the end.

  2. Week 2

    Watch, then try

Live seminars and shadowing. You sit with an experienced chatter, see real inboxes handled in real time, and start writing replies that a trainer reviews before they send.

  3. Week 3

    Your own shifts, supervised

You take the inbox with a supervisor watching. Feedback is same-day and specific, and the debrief at the end of each shift is where most of the actual learning happens.

Where it goes from there

  1. Chat specialist
  2. Supervisor
  3. Trainer
  4. Quality assurance

Every supervisor, trainer and QA manager here started on the chat floor. We promote from inside because the only way to teach this work is to have done it.

Pay and shifts

Fixed shifts, hourly base, and commission that actually moves.

From $1,500 a month for a full-time schedule, and a good deal more once commission is running. You get an hourly base for every hour on shift, plus commission on what your conversations bring in. Your exact rate depends on your shift and is confirmed in writing before you start.

How you get paid

An hourly base for every hour you are on shift, plus commission on what your conversations bring in. Payouts go out on a fixed cycle by bank transfer, with the method depending on your country. Your first payout schedule is confirmed in writing before you start.

What we ask in return

Turn up for your shift, on time, at a computer with a stable connection. This is a full-time role with real handoffs either side of you. Reliability matters here more than raw talent, and it is the one thing we will not train around.

Hiring process

You will always know what happens next.

No silent rejections and no month-long waits. Every application is read by a person, and you hear back within 3-5 business days.

  1. 1

    Apply

About ten minutes: your details, your setup, your availability, and three written questions you answer yourself.

  2. 2

    We read it

A person reads every application. We check your written answers and how they were written. Pasted or AI-generated text is detected and disqualified.

  3. 3

    Short screening

A typing test, a written English check, and a connection speed test. All three are quick and taken online.

  4. 4

    Chat simulation

You book a slot and handle a realistic conversation with a fan. We score response time, following instructions, creativity, compliance and conversation skill.

  5. 5

    Interview

A short call: we tell you exactly how the work runs, answer your questions, and confirm your ID and start date.

  6. 6

    Training and onboarding

You join the next cohort. Three weeks from course to supervised live shifts, then your own inbox.

FAQ

Questions we get before people apply.

If yours is not here, write to us. We answer every one.

Do I need previous chatting experience?

No. Most of the people we hire have never done this before. Prior experience in sales, customer service, community moderation or social media helps, but what we actually screen for is whether you can hold a conversation in writing and read what someone is really asking for. Everything else is trained.

What English level do I need?

B2 or above. You need to write naturally, catch tone, and be funny or warm on purpose rather than by accident. Perfect grammar is not the bar. Sounding like a real person having a good conversation is.

Is this really adult content?

Yes. Our creators publish on 18+ subscription platforms, and the conversations are flirty and explicit. You will be writing that content on their behalf. We say so up front because there is no version of this job where that is a surprise later.

Do I have to be over 18?

Yes, and it is not negotiable. You confirm your date of birth when you apply and we verify age before you ever reach live conversations. Applications from anyone under 18 are rejected outright.

Is there a part-time option?

Not at the moment. Shifts are eight hours and the inbox is handed between chatters, so a half-covered shift leaves a gap that lands on someone else. If your availability changes later, talk to your supervisor. We would rather move your window than lose you.

What equipment do I need?

A computer (not a phone), a stable internet connection, and somewhere quiet enough to concentrate for a full shift. You will be asked about your setup when you apply, including a photo of your workspace. That photo is the fastest way for us to see the basics are there.

How long does the application take, and when do I hear back?

About ten minutes. There are three written questions and we ask you to answer them yourself. Every answer is read by a person, and pasted or AI-generated text is detected and disqualified. You will get a decision within 3-5 business days.

Why do you check how I write my answers?

Because the job is writing. We measure how each answer was produced: whether it was typed or pasted, how long it took, how it was edited. A large paste or an impossible typing speed gets flagged. A short honest answer always beats a polished one you did not write.

What if I am not selected?

We keep your application on file and tell you so. Roles open regularly, and people we turned down once have been hired on a second application. A rejection here is about fit at the time. It is not a permanent no.

Ten minutes now, or keep scrolling job boards.

No CV, no cover letter. A few questions about you, three written answers in your own words, and a decision within 3-5 business days.
