Remote chat sales jobs in Indonesia
Remote, full-time, one fixed eight-hour shift a day. Indonesia spans three time zones, so the right shift here depends on which one you are in.
Indonesia is the only country on this list where the shift answer changes inside the country. Three time zones, two hours between the ends of them, and a window that is an ordinary working day in Jakarta is an evening in Makassar. Work out your own zone before you choose, because the window you pick is the window you keep.
The work is handling direct messages for creators on OnlyFans, Fansly and Fanvue. The conversations are flirty and explicit and you write them on the creator's behalf. You need to be 18 or over and it is verified before you reach a live inbox.
The bar is written English at B2, and it is the part of this worth preparing for. It is not a grammar test. It is whether you can write quickly, sound like a person rather than a template, and catch what someone is actually asking for.
What the pay is worth in Indonesia
A full-time schedule starts from $1,500 a month.
That floor is above the provincial minimum wage everywhere in Indonesia, including Jakarta's, which is the highest in the country. In Jakarta it reads closer to a mid-career office salary than an entry-level one, and outside Java the gap is considerably wider.
There is an hourly base for every hour on shift plus commission on what your conversations bring in, so what you actually earn depends on the window you work and what you do in it.
How you actually get paid in Indonesia
- Wise pays rupiah into Indonesian bank accounts.
- Payoneer supports Indonesia and withdraws to a local account.
- Plain international bank transfer works, and it is the slowest and most expensive of the three.
Payment rails change, and the ones above are what works today rather than a promise. Confirm your own route with the provider before your first payout. Your payout method and cycle are agreed in writing before you start.
What we need from you
The same list wherever you apply from. Nothing here is negotiable by country.
- 18 or over. This is non-negotiable and verified before you reach live conversations.
- Comfortable writing mature, adult-themed conversation on behalf of creators on 18+ subscription platforms.
- Written English at B2 or above: natural, quick, and able to carry a tone.
- A computer (not a phone), a stable internet connection, and a quiet place to work a full shift.
- Available for one fixed 8-hour shift per day, six days a week.
- Reliable. Turning up on time matters more here than being the fastest typist.
Working this job from Indonesia
The practical parts that decide whether a shift here holds together.
- A computer, not a phone. The application asks for a photo of your workspace.
- Home fibre in the larger cities is fine for this. A shared connection in a house where several people stream in the evening is not, and the evening is when most of the work is.
- You pick one window and you keep it. The inbox is handed between chatters at the end of every shift, so moving your hours around is the thing that gets a chatter replaced.
